How many questions are on the actual AZ-700 exam?
Typically 40 to 60 items in roughly a 100-minute window. Microsoft no longer publishes a fixed question count or time limit for AZ-700, so those are the ranges most candidates encounter rather than a guarantee. The mix spans multiple choice, multiple response, drag-and-drop, and case studies, and some sittings include a hands-on portal lab where you configure a resource inside a real Azure interface — budget time for that possibility rather than pacing purely against a question total.
What score do I need to pass AZ-700?
700 on a 1000-point scaled scale — which is not a raw 70%. Microsoft applies statistical scaling per form, so a set of harder questions is worth more per correct answer than an easier set.
